Back, Shoulder and Neck Massage
A
relaxing massage using a variety of techniques to help release the tension
and stress caused by bad posture at work, such as sitting cramped over
a desk, being hunched over a steering wheel or stress caused by sports activity.
Massage therapy can also increase the range of motion, and can help increase the flow of endorphins, which are the natural
painkillers of the body.
A
back, neck and shoulder massage may is useful if you are short of time!
A typical back, neck and shoulder massage takes only 30 minutes.
Massage is a therapy that often works well with other therapies.
Techniques used
Your therapist may use fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows and forearms during your back, neck and shoulder massage.
As
with all complementary therapies, we recommend you seek the advice of
your GP or regular medical practitioner before committing yourself to
significant treatments, especially those that are physically invasive.
